How do you organize your projects?

Hello,

I'm looking for an optimal project organization on my system (Windows 10). Currently I have an archive folder for old projects, WAMP folder for WordPress projects and another one for static layouts.

But it's kinda hard to manage because in every current project I've got node_modules folder which is hard to copy/paste on Windows because of this weird name length bug.

Anyone willing to share their projects structure? Also, where do you keep all assets files (like photos, briefs, some legal docs).
