hey everyone,
i'm hoping someone out there can help me out here. our web developer that did all our javascripting at the company i work for moved on a little ago, and i've been given a what looks to be a simple project, but i don't know anything about javascript; i'm a print designer.
i need to create a slider/carousel, which seems simple enough, but it has to be: 1] mobile friendly [able to slide with a swipe] 2] desktop friendly [able to slide with a click] 3] responsive 4] and preferably Bootstrap friendly [not a requirement]
it will contain only text, which will be a series of hyperlinked dates, and here's a screenshot of a mockup: http://ift.tt/1MmpZMU
i thought i'd try finding a simple image carousel that does what i need, and modifying it to contain text instead of images, but i've been fumbling around in it for two days and have accomplished nothing. i've found and tried a few, but the one i've been working in most is the Responsive Display found here: http://ift.tt/1nWViS1. i don't need the dots under the slider, so those can go.
so, i guess my question is, does anyone know of a text-only carousel out there that i can use? or know of a tutorial to build one myself? how easy is this even to do?
thanks!
