Quick stupid question: How do you copy and paste a theme across blogs without having to change every tiny thing to make them match?

Every time I copy and paste the htlm code from one them to another it just installs the basic version of the theme and I still have to customize everything to make things match. What's the easiest way to match themes across blogs?
