Redesigning a whole brand but I have to keep the company logo - Which approach would you take?

I was given the task to create a united look through all products and pages of a company. I can change everything but the company logo. It is basically just written text (the company name) consisting of these colors:

I used a color palette generator for the functional colors in relation to the company blue, but they look somewhat dull and out of place. http://ift.tt/1L2bCGK

What would you do if you can create a completely new design? Would you just tack on the logo everywhere on a completely new design or would you try to incoporate the logo in the new color palette using different shades?

I simply dont know which approach to take.
