I'm working on a project where we're considering using a network as the primary form of navigation (click on nodes to expand subjects and see articles, network edges are connections between subjects, etc.). I'm uncertain whether or not this will actually work and be remotely user-friendly, so I'm looking for examples on other websites. Unfortunately, (perhaps due to a failure of my Google Fu), I can't find any sites that use a visualization of a network for navigation or exploring content. Does anyone know of any?
