I am doing a presentation for my Oral Communications for CS majors class and the topic I have chosen is [see title].
I am a computer science student and have developed websites from the ground up, but at the same time for my photography hobby I made a simple, clean, easy to maintain, and efficient website on Squarespace.
Are there any articles or statistics that I can use to support my claim? I'm having trouble finding them online. I'd also like to hear from those of you that have been in the web industry long enough to have been affected by pre-built themes and website creators.
I think for the average small business it is easier and cheaper for them to create a generic, but nice, website using a service like Squarespace or Wordpress to get their product out there quickly.
I also may be totally wrong in this claim, but I'd like to hear your opinions on this.
