For date entry, what do you prefer to use/ use in your web projects?

I ask because I'm developing my first web-app and I'm undecided, I opted for 3 textboxes, but I feel like there would be a better way of doing things.

It looks like this.

*In this case, a flyout calendar would be redundant because of what the data entry is meant to achieve.

This is being used in a schedule system, so having that calendar visible at all times is a requirement. *
