What would be the best way to create this button?

I need to create a button with a slanted edge on one part of the button as you can see in the picture.

What I have done is created the slanted dark green box with the arrow as a graphic and put it inside of the button div, sorting out css to position it on top of the left side of the button.

However this method makes it very awkward in different browsers, mostly the size of the image is different in FF and IE than Chrome.

Would a pure CSS approach be more practical? Should the entire button be an image?
