HTML text box in wordpress

I'm trying to put a text box on my wordpress and I'm using:

<div style="border:1px solid black;float:center;width:40%;margin:12px;padding:12px;"> BOXED_TEXT_HERE </div>

How would I go about to make the textbox center of the page?
