This has been on my mind for a while now. I'm currently building my portfolio to apply for a summer internship. While having creative blocks every once in a while throughout the process I was curious; what stops people from completely plagiarizing creative work and putting it in their portfolio's?
Not that I am going to do this because I am one of the more prolific designers in my program, but I was just curious what stops someone from ripping of my work and using it, or vice versa. Do interviewers check for this stuff?
I don't want to know that someone is getting a job that I deserve because they had a better looking fake portfolio.
