I've been learning web skills on the side (I have a full-time job) because it's fun and I like it. I want to be able to make money on the side and maybe someday quit my job to do this.
I'm not interested in working for a company and doing web dev or design I'm more interested in building something freelance and selling my services or packages to small businesses or companies that require a functioning website, e-commerce store, etc. or something that allows me more autonomy so I can choose my hours, the projects, and have more flexibility.
Does demand for this type of service still exist or are a lot of these freelance jobs outsourced on elance and such where it's not a viable way to make income now?
