Quick question for everyone - do you offer maintenance services to your design clients? We have a few clients that we've designed WordPress sites for. We currently have them in our UpDraftPlus and WPMUDEV subscriptions to maintain plugins, updates, etc. We use WordFence and actively monitor the threats to the sites, etc. We are charged for a couple of these services, but have been backing up the sites and protecting them out of convenience for us, and because the mom and pop shops that we created them for don't know the first thing about WP, etc. Should we cut ties with the maintenance, give "mom and pop" the credentials and let them have it - then sell them on the idea of our monthly service for security, updates and block time (for design changes)?
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!
