We had some new branding walk through my companies door today (still slide interstitial stuff presented in between video content) that has a pseudo 3D look using light gradients on the text.
I'm really not a huge fan of gradient "3D" text, but thought I'd get some feedback from this sub-reddit before brining up my personal issues with it.
I just feel like it's not up to par with current modern design standards, and can't really think of a company using that sort of design. I appreciate its gradient based 3D and not actual extrusion, but something about it still rubs me the wrong way.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
