Is there a name for the aesthetic I'm trying to describe here?

Examples include:

• The R-101 Dephinus from Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, as well as the R-102 and R-103.

• Some of the angels from Neon Genesis Evangelion, including Gaghiel, Zeruel, and possibly Sahaquiel.

I'm not too sure if there is, precisely, a common design motif here, but I'd almost describe it as "techno-organic," or "meta-natural."
