Use PS or Illustrator for next step of this logo?

Hi!

https://imgur.com/a/fpAYC I'm currently trying to make a logo that looks like the drawing on the left. I'm not sure if I should redo the lineart in Photoshop and then image trace it in Illustrator, or if I should go straight into Illustrator. What do you guys think?
