Timepiece to visualize time passing linearly instead of circularly

Is anyone aware of a time-piece, either clock or watch, that visualizes time passing throughout the day on an analog linear scale, instead of digitally or on a circular dial? I want to test some theories about the visualization of time and mental load, and I'd need a time piece like this to do it. Some examples of what I'm thinking of are below:
