Maybe this is best meant for r/Photography but I figured y'll would be the ones to speak to about Pixel Density.
On Instagram's website, they say images can be up to 1080px wide for best quality.
Hopefully I'm understanding this right: the iPhone Xs Max is 1242px wide. The max width for photos in instagram is 1080px. So a 1080 square pixel photo will have a ppi of 234.977 on the Xs Max, nearly half of the specified 458ppi.
Does that mean images should be 2160px wide to make up for this?
