The Design Update: Anyone using a cintiq with a wireless display adapter?

I'm looking to buy a cintiq in the near future, and I'm debating on whether or not I'd be able to use it paired with a wireless display adapter, but haven't been able to find anything on the internet if anyone's tried it before. Has anyone here tried it? Are there any major performance issues that come up? If it works well, then I'd likely opt for the wired option and save a few hundred dollars.
