My friend and I have recently gone into business and have a few clients lining up for us to make their sites. Most of them are commerce related, and I'm kind of lost. I have never used a CMS before, but I know it can't be too hard to figure out. I know Wordpress is very popular, but I just like starting with a blank slate. I prefer doing a lot of coding by hand and I really dislike using templates and not having a ton of customization over it.
Am I just ignorant? I've never liked the idea of using a CMS, but I'm guessing it's time to learn. Just to note, I would prefer the ability to upload and use my own style sheet.
