How would you improve this Google's interface?

This new Google Now interface needs some work, from the text being covered, to the white google logo on a white background.

I really appreciate the effort of the designers from google, but this interface doesn't click me, especially the section titles.

Would you improve it? How? Or would you leave it as is?
