Anyway advice on presenting Back End development in a portfolio?

Hey r/design, so I'm the in-house visual designer for a company that specializes in creating websites, web applications and mobile apps. They haven't really been putting too much emphasis on the design aspects of their products until they hired me. I've recently rebranded the company and now I'm working on redoing their website and putting together a portfolio of their work which they hadn't had on the website until now. The thing is though there's a lot of back end development work here that my boss asked me to present it in a way that's cohesive with the front end design work in the portfolio. My first thought was putting together an infographic for each project as there is only data to go on with that work. I'd just like some opinions moving forward ideally from someone who's had to deal with this situation themselves, because I do feel a little out of my element on this one.
