My boss asked me to take over the company website and I have very very little experience in maintaining or working on a website. So far I have Dreamweaver and FlashFXP. I use flashfxp to create a copy of the online server to a local source. (It is super messy and un-organized). I can open the pages in dreamweaver but do not have much of an idea of what I am looking at. I have looked around for some tutorials and have been struggling because they start with a new website not editing an old one. Are there any good websites or tutorials out there that would teach me to pick up from an old website and run with it? Are there better ways than dreamweaver? I am having some serious stress issues over this and would really appreciate any help possible. At the moment I am trying to create new download buttons and am struggling, the previous person used CSS to style it I think and I can not for the life of me figure out how to re-design it. This is one example of an issue I am having. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions!!!
