When we type wrong code we get a big fat error and the programme will crash. When we use the design rules incorrectly, why are we more sensetive for negative feedback?

I think if we just learn to take criticism when it comes to design, we will improve faster. But everyone is always so careful when giving feedback on design. Why are we so sensetive for design feedback, but not for a lot of other things?
