Hello fellow freelancers of Reddit, I am a fairly new freelance illustrator/designer and I have been having a hard time balancing my life: I seem to work most efficiently in the evening (when people are getting off work) and also tend to work weekends (when everyone is taking a load off from their work week). I thought I would have more freedom as a freelancer, but it feels like I am working 24/7. I don't know how to maintain a relationship because most people working 9-5 don't want to put up with my weird hours, or people will just assume since I freelance that I can hang out with them whenever. How have you found your balance?
