I'm still super new to HTML/CSS and have essentially finished my first site. It's not mobile friendly at all, but I've been learning how to make it so. At first I thought I should use media queries to make it so the site was optimized for different devices, but after doing some research people suggested that it's better to set media queries around your site as opposed to the devices visiting the site.
How do you set this up? I have my body width and height set to 80% to add some extra white space around my design. Since I have my body width/height set to a percentage would my breakpoints also be in percentages? Sorry if this doesn't make a ton of sense. Still super new to this all.
Sidenote: I don't have the site live anywhere. I was trying to figure out how to set it up as a github page, but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to put my code onto the website.
