Im doing some voluntary work for my local dog shelter. Its almost 10 years since I finished college (and I have been working exclusively in network infrastructure since then) so my web development skills are a tad dated and fairly rusty..... but I love a challenge.
Basically they need a simple webpage so people can sign up to be notified about upcoming fundraisers.
So really a simple page with 3 fields for name/phone/email and it is saved to a file and then we can let them know about upcoming fundraisers.
Ive spent most of today researching this and its not as straight forward as I thought it would be.
I can build the form in dreamweaver. That bit is fairly handy. But it seems I need a script to take the data and write it to a file.
Can anyone give me any info/guides on this? Or even point me to a working downloadable example/template so I can see it in action.
