So I've actually spent quite some time creating a website that has interactive elements and videos that swap out on click, and it creates a choose-your-own-adventure story and I'm rather happy with it. Only problem is it only works on desktop.
Mainly due to things like "autoplay" being turned off by default on mobile/tablets (which I understand why). This is very limiting when trying to create what is basically a "game" that can be played online.
Any thoughts or ideas to help me accomplish this? Could I create an online app? Are there HTML5 game makers available to me? I would enjoy any thoughts, ideas, or leads. Thanks!
Also, I know "autoplay" video and audio is usually a strict no-go for web but this is specifically a story-telling experience and users will know exactly what they are in for.
