Best place for designers to sell merchandise without any hassle

So I'm looking for the best way to sell merchandise online. I want a website that will allow me to upload a design and then apply it to different items. Do any of you have any experience in selling designs online? What was your experience with any websites you used? Did you have to do any marketing?
