I design (no coding) UI for a start-up and I'm preparing files for a new developer we have on our team. Since I've been working here I've been naming my files like this Assets> ABC-Icon> ABC-Icon.SVG + ABC-Icon.PNG + ABC-Icon.CSS For another item, like a logo, I'll arrange it like this Assets> XYZ-Logo> XYZ-Logo.SVG + XYZ-Logo.PNG + XYZ-Logo.CSS
The developer can apparently never see or find these graphics folders inside of the Assets folder. So my boss instructs me to dump all of the assets in one folder. He's not a designer or developer so he's not sure why either.
Although these may sound dumb, my questions are: Is it more accessible to have all assets in one single folder? Or is this just personal preference? Is it a possibility that my sub-folders really aren't visible?
Sorry if this isn't the right place for this, I just thought you all would have experience with file-handling.
Epic visual tool
