On my website, for web design of all things, I can't seem to get iPhones to load the CSS media queries. I've tried everything I can think of and every solution I've found on Stack Overflow doesn't seem to work. I use 2 sizes, one for mobile and one for desktop that breaks at 800px. It works fine on every Android phone and desktop browser. It's just iPhone that's being stubborn but I don't have one to test on. It looks like this:
@media screen and (min-width: 800px) { Desktop CSS } @media screen and (max-width: 799px) { Mobile CSS }
And yes, I do have the meta viewport tag set properly.
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, user-scalable=no, initial-scale=1.0">
Can anyone tell me what's going on here? Why does mobile Safari not like my CSS rules?
