Design ideas and samples of books with one page with a photo and the next page with text?

I'm currently working on a sort of informational art book that has a full page image and then the right page is all text. The amount of text however varies between sections quite a lot and I'm having trouble thinking of good ways to design it in a way that flows well throughout the whole book.

I could, for instance, have a bunch of white space up top, or on bottom, or fill the white space with giant text, or vary the title text of each right page to fill the space, or center everything.

Do you have a place that you go for book design samples?
