Has anyone ever worked with design/printing for screen printing on hard rounded surfaces? Would text and designs need to be altered to account for slight curvature?

A friend wants to hire me to get convert his business's logo and information to a file for screen printing on a slightly rounded bottle https://imgur.com/1pKkil8

I have never worked with this kind of 3D space before. If it's just a small logo and tiny text, could I get away with just designing as if it was a 2D label? Or is there a method I can use to alter it? I work in Illustrator.
