100 Things Every Designer Needs to Know About People (Voices That Matter)
I don't really want to but when you do new doc in Illustrator it shows some "Free Templates" and I didn't think there were any free resources within Adobe Stock. Here is one artist that has all of theirs listed as free. Am I in danger of incurring a charge by downloading theirs? I can't find any info about the "Free" ones.
Thanks!
Hi guys. As the title says, I find this 'commercial use' a bit missleading.
I found some free vector resources amd it is written 'licensed free for both personal and commercial use. You can modify our work without asking for permision' , etc.
All good and then at the bottom of the text it says : you can't modify and sell/resell our work to someone, etc..
But they just said it's free for commercial use too and that i can modify the work without asking for permision. Help me? What do i miss??
Thank you.
Hello! I am attempting to create a very professional looking signature line for our employees, and am running into a lot of road blocks with my limited knowledge. From our higher ups - there is a lot of "busy-ness" they want to add on the signature page that looks slightly overwhelming.. so i'm looking for soneone with a little more expertise to help me out for a fee. Let me know your rates, maybe some sample work, or if you would like to provide a demo, and we can work it out from there. Thanks in advance!
Also, if this is the wrong sub, please show me to the right place.. I appreciate it!
Are gradients going to be bigger? Is flat design finally going to die? Will freelancers take on full time jobs instead this year?
First all, let me confess, I am by no means a professional designer. I'm aware this might go against rule 7, but I was hoping that, as this is to be used in a professional context, you might forgive me for that.
I am a photographer currently redesigning my brand from the ground up, and I'm trying to settle on a logo to represent it. I have included a few designs below that I have been working on, I would love to hear any thoughts you guys have on these that might help me to finalise a design. For example, the name I work under is yates.photography, but I am unsure as to how to integrate this into some of these designs without making it seem a bit...hodgepodge. Saldy, as I do not have access to Illustrator, I am using Photoshop to create these. There is a chance that I might be able to get hold of CC in the coming months, would it be better to hold off an redesign using Illustrator instead?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this does not fit in with the requirements of this sub.
Im sure i see a logo very similar to this one, but i can't remember, do you have any idea? the style of text, colors, the border line.
This is a bi-weekly discussion, automatically posted at around 9:00 AM PST every 2 weeks on Friday.
Ask how a specific design is made in this weekly discussion. Top comments must have an image or link of the design included.
Because I honestly just love concrete, and I'm looking for some inspiration. Preferably anything highlighting excellence in architecture but anything else will do of course!
I'm doing some coursework for a graphic design project (illustration) and i'm trying to make about 12 different shades of blue that get progressively lighter, it's difficult trying to guess, are there by any chance any websites or images that offer a balanced set? I can do it myself, it's just i'm very short on time. Thanks in advance.
Thanks to this post about a well-designed toothbrush, I was reminded of my search for a well-designed, sturdy men's hair comb from several months ago. I searched pretty diligently but wasn't able to find anything that I thought was great, something that checks these three boxes: 1) Durable enough to last several years without having teeth break off 2) Aesthetically pleasing 3) A wide tooth comb (preferred, though not necessary)
Does anyone know of a comb that meets these three criteria? I feel silly just for posing the question, but it's bothering me quite a bit. Thanks for your help.
