I'm doing a project with space data. We're supposed to think innovative concepts that use big data from space for Safe City solutions. I study Multimedia Design.

We're doing presentations for groups of people and in this we need to explain the value of our concept. However I find it hard to make it understandable. In my head it's all clear, but if I start explaining it to people they look like I talk a different language.
I've a huge amount of research and I feel like I'm getting lost in details when I explain this.
Are there any known methods for explaining projects?
