How do you guys cope with making a design for a client that you know looks like garbage, but its what the client wants?

Im working on a logo right now that im having a really hard time finishing. He sent me a mockup of what he wants it to look like, and it looks like absolute trash. I really don't want to release poor design out into the world, theres enough of it as is.
