How do you mix clean corporate design with "dynamic"? (x-post from r/graphicDesign)

I have a corporate client with clean, modern branding that I'm creating a couple of trade show booth backgrounds. They of course want to maintain their clean aesthetic and use iconography in the design but still have it look "dynamic."

• As a designer, what does this mean to you?
• Where would you look for design inspiration for such a request?
• Any other advice for approaching a design like this?
