Hi,
High school student here taking his 3rd and last year of Architectural studies. Basically, the goal for the majority of our year is put towards designing a structure (stadium, cafe, home, etc) and presenting it. This is more or less what majority of our class aim for, though unlike the others I am submitting my work for a scholarship, therefore, additional work is needed. Last year I did the same thing through using a large poster, brochures, business cards and a 3D animation with a custom DVD sleeve. I wanted all of them to inform the markers about my structure (of how I got to my final design and the number of rooms and toilets etc)
This year I would like to add to what I did last year. My QUESTION is what more additional presentational methods could I use? Such as a website, map, short book. A physical model cannot be accepted as it is far too large to send to the marker. This will also act as a portfolio that I will submit to the University for entrance acceptance.
The thing is that my past methods of presentations (brochure, poster, DVD and animation) have all been used throughout the past, therefore, the marker wouldn't have such a wow factor (leading to a lower grade) For which is the reason behind my curiousness for new endeavours.
I’d appreciate any opinions and thoughts, thanks.
Great design resource
