new slack logo design and concepts
I like a lot the old Slack logo. It have a strong personality, and you will hardly confuse this sign with any others. The new one looks fun and friendly, solve important technical problems. Still there are a few issues that I want to draw your attention to.
The font.
The “c” letter. It fits the style of the symbol, but does not fit the style of the wordmark. It makes the wordmark less balanced.
The exciting story of C letter
The ducks.
People are sharing ducks on the internet. But its not about ducks. It is about a symbol that may create a little confusion.

The droplets are suposed to illustrate speech bubbles. Instead, they create different associations.
Rounding the droplets and playing around.
