Hello all. First post on reddit and thought it's the best place to ask.
Recently i've been stumbling from country to country with my dad and haven't joined up with a college as of yet. During these 2 years i've gotten completely bored of playing games and wanted to pick up new skill sets. Hence I thought about developing a game from scratch. This is more of a personal project than a commercial one and I probably don't plan to publish it. So far I've been learning C# and Python by myself and am at a point where I feel like I can start implementing and replacing the placeholders for sprites in the game.
I've looked at a lot of art styles and I'm sure that this artwork was exactly what I was looking for. Only exception is I'm doing a 2D game and these are normally 3D models (DB FighterZ and Guilty Gear being the big titles). Currently I've been using a Wacom tablet with Photoshop and so far practise is going alright. So my question is can anyone help me with pointers on how I should approach this art style.
BTW I'm talking about the character models not the background but if you want, you can also help with that.
All help is appreciated :)
Thanks in Advance
Edit: Sorry if this is in the wrong thread. Like I said, I'm new :P
