I pretty much hate design but I paid 50 fucking thousand dollars for it so I have to do it. I’ve been working for 5 years as a graphic designer and web designer and front end developer but the whole industry is poison and most days I’d rather just kill myself. I get a lot of praise as my job but I hate every single client, every single social media ad, and every micromanaged second of my life by the client. I don’t know how people can be passionate about this but I suppose I was too at one point in time. I really enjoy user research and the psychology behind design and technology. I’m flipping through differing job ads but if my life has to be design for the next 25 years then I’ll commit suicide in 10.
