What do you call it when you want to use an image just for a mockup? As in, put in my drawings, so you can show off a pitch, and then possibly sell the whole design?
Would you call this practice FPO / For Placement Only? (A term I've seen used in publishing), or is there a more specific term meaning 'art used for mockups'.
And now, (the kicker) - what's your attitude about paying artists for this usage? - assuming you honestly feel a specific artist's work is key to getting the contact.
