What are some good side-by-side comparisons of things that are best explained via a single photo vs purely in writing?

I am trying to explain to someone why pictures are sometimes better than a long, drawn out explanation. I figured the best way to prove my point is by having a side by side comparison.

Do you all happen to have any examples of something that would require pictures in order to understand how to use it? And then have the long-winded explanation version without pictures alongside it?
