I wanted to start a discussion/ask if anyone has interesting ways of displaying the list of work they've done on their website. My issues with today is:
When you have even 5-6 pieces of work, it's a bombardment of interfaces (possibly clashing) with no context so the user may not know which to click first to view (sure top is latest, but maybe it's not always the "coolest").
One method I tried was getting "stock" photos that relate to the company or work I did and have the title/description overlayed so the images or more faded...and although they are related and obvious once explained (or once a user reads the work spec), that's just it - it's not obvious.
And of course a plain text list isn't eye-catching enough to new viewers, so I would like to know - what are your thoughts on this and any ideas or inspiration you may have?
