I'm below average at design. But some of my stuff is good in my opinion or at least I like it anyhow.
I'm sure i've shown people designs that if shown to them by a more famous designer they would have liked the design a whole heap more rather than just saying they would like it a bit different.
How much do you think who the person presenting the work is affects peoples' perception of the quality?
(Also what about the way the work is presented with a whole story about the background of the work and it's symbolisim etc.)
I'm thinking with regard to logos but it applies to anything really.
