Dead R/Design, Could you help me with my schoolproject?

My name is Wouter and I am a graphic design student in Rotterdam.

I am working on a project about “diversity” in the widest sense of the word. I want to use restrictions in my design process to push me out of my comfort zone. And I would like to ask you to help me a bit.

In my project I give myself a set of restrictions to work with everyday. The restrictions will come in terms of: typography, color, texture, techniques, shape, materials, motion, interaction and so on. A restriction could be: “Use 50 different fonts in your design” or “only use materials found in your kitchen”, “only use clay”. I bet it could be much crazier.

The thing I would like to ask from you is to help me find the restrictions that really push me to find new things to try out. Maybe something you worked with. The designs will be posted on www.wouteroomen.nl everyday from the 14th until the first of February.
