Do you need/is it very practical to get an artist tablet with multi touch?

Im looking at artist tablets with a monitor and am wondering if multi touch would be very practical. Im willing to spend up to 800$ but multi touch would remove almost all but a few options to choose from. Is it worth having it? Wacom Cintiq 13HD for 800 has it, but other interesting options like the XP-Pen 22 dont. Thanks for any help.
