Dieline functional hinge? Is concept feasible??

Is there were to create a function clamp with a hinge (spring torsion or otherwise) with a dieline design? Or maybe two (or more) functional dieline that connect?

A clamp that can open and close but remains in the closed position until "force" pulls it apart.
