You see the Kartell 8255 a pedal operated trash can – that we have had for 28 years! This has always been the kitchen trashcan, the most utilized trash can in the house. It is plastic it still works perfectly. This is the Volkswagen Beetle or more appropriately the Plymouth Valiant of American trash cans. Kartell should bring these back and they should get a design award, these things are awesome. What plastic item with moving parts, that take body weight, functions 28 years?
