How much do promoters pay for rave/club flyers?

Some of these promoters/clubs pay so little for flyers... why is that?

Way back then I use to charge $50, then slowly bumped up to $200. When I ask promoters how much they pay for flyers... it's usually $50. That seems absolutely bunk to me but they don't understand. I live in California (sf) and this is what they charge.

It takes work to take all the info, design it, create artwork, prepare for print+web, and create social network assets.
