I'm a bored graphic designer. I want a project to work on.
I thought I could buy some gadget (like a infomercial level product that makes your life easier! But not available in stores) in bulk, have fun making the ad, and then sell pay to run the ad on Facebook/google.
What are the considerations that would make this less fun and less profitable than what it's worth? Can I avoid fulfillment? Is there a company that would store and ship out these products that makes this worth it for a one time shot?
There was a kid in high school that made $50k a year as a candy distributor. He didn't have to keep shit in his house, he just did all the work, calling and managing it.
Has anyone done this that I could learn from?
